At the fabrication the block is placed on a platform and multiple cutting heads are working into the block with water until the cutting heads come all the way through the stone and the block is cut to slabs or strips. These slabs are usually cut into multiple thicknesses from 3/4" and up and given the desired finish. The strips, usually 1 or 1 1/4" thick, are then split in half thickness wise forming two 1/2" or 3/8" thick. These pieces are then cut into tile given the desired finish.
After inspecting the final order, the material is packed, palletized, loaded into container and shipped. The container is delivered to our warehouse in New Jersey, or directly to the costumer or to the jobsite.
